Custom cams already produced! No waiting for Kelford to finish and manufacture their design. This includes the full set of 4, and is offered as forced induction (turbo or supercharger) application with .428” (10.88mm) peak cam lift, 285 intake duration and 10.74mm lift, 289 exhaust cam duration, with and 54 degrees of overlap.

Factory VVTi cams have 252 intake, 8.67mm lift and 266 duration exhaust, 8.68mm lift, for reference

Cams can be ordered in VVTi and non-VVTi versions so they can be used on all 1UZ / 2UZ /3UZ VVTi or 2000-2004 non-VVTi 2UZ engines.

For the manufacturing process, we start with proprietary cast iron billets, CNC machine the lobes, and finish off with double heat treatment, 5160 induction hardening, and Tufftriding.

Please note you will need to have your head machined to fit the more aggressive turbo/race cams. These cams will NOT fit non-VVTi 89-97 1UZ engines.

You will also need to remember to replace the plugs at the end of the cams during installation, as those are not typically included. Your scissor gears will also get reused from your original cams.
