Now that the V160/V161 are both discontinued entirely, 6 speed conversion options have become more limited. SupraStore is proud to step up and offer alternative choices, such as the T56 Magnum! For less than the price of a V160 by itself, you can get a brand new T56 factory rated for 700 ft lbs (and we all know how conservative factory ratings are), one of the best twin disc clutches ever made capable of over 900 ft lbs, the accompanying flywheel, a Ram hydraulic throw out release bearing, and steel SFI approved adapter bellhousing.

You will need to do some custom work to fit the transmission in the chassis (whichever chassis you may be using), the shifter position, and a custom driveshaft. In many cases, the rest can be done for less than half the price of the Toyota/Getrag 6 speed!

The T56 Magnum 6 speed is a much stronger and better shifting box that uses the TR6060 internals from the newest Viper, Corvette ZR1, Shelby GT500, Challenger SRT8 Hellcat, Pontiac G8 GXP, Camaro ZL1, and even Aston Martins! It also has provisions for 3 separate shifter locations and a choice of 2 sets of gear ratios:

Keep in mind that T56 transmissions require Dexron ATF for trans fluid.
