Fitment: All 2JZGTE and 1ZGTE engines

If you plan on making 1200hp+ or you want to spin the motor to 9,000 rpm+, then we suggest going with billet main caps. These are far more robust than factory caps and will keep the crank in place under big power or high rpm.

In order to install the billet main caps, they need to be torqued properly in the block and machined in a process called line boring. Please see the video below to get an idea of what line boring is and how it is done. Line boring can be done by any fully equipped shop with the proper line boring set-up.
