I have been wanting to bring to our 1JZ owners a connecting rod that was under $1000 for a set of six and designed and built to be robust and handle the power.

We have been working with our manufacturer (who builds for two of the largest brands in the USA) to put together a cost-effective, yet proven H-Beam connecting rod for the 1JZ engine.

The issue was not design, as the design is proven and has been for years. The challenge was to get a reliable production time-slot to build them and we now have that.

Introducing our SS-900 1JZ connecting rods with ARP 2000 hardware. Each rod set is balanced within .90 of a gram and are matched in sets of six. Bronze bushing, H-beam forging from 4340 spec steel and includes ARP 2000 hardware. ARP2000 Bolts are made from an alloy steel that can be safely heat treated to a higher level, producing a great level of strength. ARP2000 is capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi and are a significant upgrade from most rods that are equipped with 8470 chrome moly.

These are designed for RPM up to 9,500 and designed to handle up to 900 HP in a balanced rotating assembly.
